At the Responsible Seafood Summit • Sept. 21-23 • Bangkok, Thailand
This year, TCRS merged its Shrimp Summit with the Global Seafood Alliance’s Responsible Seafood Summit. The event was held at the Shangri-La Hotel in Bangkok, Sept. 21-23; the Shrimp Summit sessions took place on Sept. 23, followed by a field tour on Sept. 24.
In an exciting departure from the typical conference format, where different speakers present a range of perspectives with no clear conclusions, this year’s Shrimp Summit convened teams of experts that collaborated ahead of the event to identify the major issues surrounding particular topics and find consensus on potential solutions.
